We're looking for a world-class brand designer who treats generative AI and custom tooling as a primary production method for brand work. You'll direct AI output at volume, both across Lovable’s brand and creative and Lovable’s output itself. You’ll be working closely with a Brand Engineer to ensure whatever workflow you wish for can scale. This is a new role with no precedent - you’ll be defining a lot of it as you go.

Why Lovable?

Lovable lets anyone and everyone build software with any language. From solopreneurs to Fortune 100 teams, millions of people use Lovable to transform raw ideas into real products - fast. We are at the forefront of a foundational shift in software creation, which means you have an unprecedented opportunity to change the way the digital world works. Lovable-built applications and websites are visited hundreds of millions of times a month, and our enterprise footprint is compounding fast. And we're just getting started.

We're a small, talent-dense team building a generation-defining company from Stockholm. We value extreme ownership, high velocity, and low-ego collaboration. We seek out people who care deeply, ship fast, and are eager to make a dent in the world.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong design taste - you can tell good from generic, and you can articulate why.
  • Real fluency with AI generation tools (image, video, whatever's next) as a craft, not a party trick - you already have opinions about which models and workflows produce better output and why.
  • Experience creating scalable brand systems, templates, tools, and guidelines that enable teams to execute independently - except here the 'team' increasingly includes the AI pipeline itself.
  • A portfolio of shipped brand assets - campaign visuals, social graphics, presentation decks, event materials, marketing collateral - plus evidence of AI-native production, not just AI-assisted.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity - this function doesn't have a template at Lovable or anywhere else yet.
  • Technical range - prompt engineering counts, scripting, automation and building custom tools is even better. We're not asking you to be an engineer, but the more range you have the faster the seam between you and the Brand Engineer disappears.

What you'll do:

  • In one sentence: Shape how the world sees and experiences Lovable, using AI as the primary means of production.
  • Evolve Lovable's visual identity across all brand touchpoints.
  • Build and maintain the visual system as something machines can execute against: style references, fine-tunes/LoRAs, prompt libraries, not just a static guidelines deck.
  • Direct and review AI-generated output at volume across campaigns, social, events, and partnerships - you're the judgment layer, not the hands.
  • Establish brand guidelines and systems that ensure consistency as we scale rapidly, in an AI-native production model.
  • Work closely with a Brand Engineer who builds the tooling that lets you do this at scale - you define what the tools need to produce, they build the systems to scale and maintain them.
  • Be scrappy and hands-on with whatever the brand needs - from a LinkedIn carousel to event signage, hand-made when hand-making is the point.
  • Help set the bar for creative quality and taste at Lovable.

How we hire:

  • Fill in a short form then jump on an initial exploratory call.
  • We'll send you a quick take-home asking to present your best work over a loom video presentation.
  • Join us for a round of interviews to discuss your experience in more depth.
  • Join us for trial work lasting 1-2 days remote or on-site. We'll see how you tick and you get to meet the team and explore whether joining Lovable feels right for you.
