LMETB invites applications for teaching positions that may arise during school year 2026/2027. Panels may be formed for the subject combinations advertised from which other appointments may be made to Post-Primary Schools, PLC Colleges and other centres within LMETB.
O'Fiaich College PLC, Dundalk, Co. Louth – 22 hours per week (One fixed-term position)
Responsibilities
- A strong academic background in Arts is required.
- The teacher must engage and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in guidance-related activities or supporting learners’ personal, educational, and career development is desirable.
- Experience working with young people or adult learners in educational or community settings would be beneficial.
- Good communication and organisational skills, and a willingness to work as part of a team to support a positive learning environment are important.
Qualifications, salary scales and conditions of service are in accordance with DES. All vacancies are subject to the post not being required for the Department of Education & Skills Redeployment process. Panels may be formed from which other vacancies may be filled. Canvassing by or on behalf of the applicant will disqualify. Appointments are to Louth and Meath Education and Training Board Scheme.
Applicants must be registered or in the process of registering with The Teaching Council of Ireland for the advertised subject(s).
