Overview

At Cosy Club, part of Loungers Ltd, our Operations Managers are inspiring, hands-on leaders responsible for overseeing around 5 – 8 large volume restaurant sites. This is a role for those who lead from the front, bring bags of energy and attention to detail, and who can balance commercial rigor, the perfect blend of kindness, strong work ethic, a sense of humour and ultimately an obsession around delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Working in close partnership with an Operations Chef, you\’ll be the driving force behind your sites\’ success – coaching, supporting and challenging to deliver world class hospitality through building high-performing and engaged teams. You\’ll be the embodiment of the person \’everyone\’ wants to work for…and with.

We\’re currently looking for an Operations Manager for our East patch, ideally based in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Norfolk or surrounding areas in order to have easy access to our Cosy Clubs.

What You\’ll Do

  • Inspire and lead a team of General Managers and the wider restaurant management team, coaching and developing them into standout leaders who deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Be a regular and visible presence in your sites, including days, evenings and weekends. Coaching service, rolling up your sleeves during busy shifts, and ensuring consistent delivery of world-class standards.
  • Embed a culture of warmth and pride, where every guest feels welcome, and every team member feels valued, supported and part of something special.
  • Drive local sales, building community relationships, proactively deliver local marketing initiatives, and helping teams create unforgettable events to celebrate the special moments.
  • Be a true food ambassador. Understanding what\’s needed behind the pass to deliver an elevated dining experience and working closely with both FOH and BOH teams to consistently achieve exceptional standards in line with the Cosy food vision.
  • Champion drink excellence by knowing what\’s required behind the bar to craft an elevated guest experience and deliver high volume sales.
  • Ensure smooth operational excellence, from rotas and sales forecasts delivered accurately and on time, 1:1s with your team, to daily planning and execution and making sure the site has what it needs to run effectively. Everything runs like clockwork under your watch.
  • Monitor performance closely, using guest feedback, daily reports, and P&Ls to guide decisions and support your teams with clarity and purpose. Really understand what makes the sites tick commercially and ensure you\’re on top of the bottom line.
  • Build a trusted partnership with your Ops Chef, working together to align kitchen and front of house priorities and deliver seamless execution; work hard to ensure there is an excellent working relationship between General Managers, Head Chefs and their teams.
  • Champion our people team commitments – fair rotas, regular 1:1s, honest feedback, and a focus on team wellbeing and career development. You build a culture within sites where everyone wants to come to work and enjoys themselves, whether they\’re building a career in hospitality or a part-time gig.
  • Lead by example, from stepping onto the floor, supporting the recovery of guests, or even jumping on the bar when needed.
  • Own the detail, from cocktail garnishes to dodgy lightbulbs and energy usage. We believe the little things make a big difference to your team, our guests and ultimately our bottom line. Amazing attention to detail is one of the key features of what makes Cosy Club Operations Managers exceptional leaders.

What We\’re Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Proven multi-site leadership in hospitality – ideally in premium casual dining, fresh food, or wet-led environments.
