Product Developer, Lingerie and Swimwear

The Lounge team is growing! We are looking for a Product Developer to join our rapidly growing business. Since 2015 Lounge has grown from an eCommerce underwear brand designed to bless women with Comfort Made Sexy, into an omnichannel modern fashion house inspired to make women feel empowered, beautiful, sexy, and comfortable in their skin. As a Product Developer, you will help our product team continually develop high‑quality garments that look incredible and fit all of our consumers perfectly.

What You Will Do

  • Assist our designers in developing the perfect product throughout sample phases, considering everything from fabric, to fit, to feel, and everything in between.
  • Work alongside our Product Development Team to execute fit trials with our fit models, pulling together thorough notes, adhering to organized processes, and planning next phases of sampling and product development.
  • Support the Lead Product Developer in continuing our internal development of creating a consistent and perfect fit across our Lounge collections.
  • Manage your own projects from tech packs to final end samples, ensuring critical‑path dates are met continuously.
  • Liaise clearly and professionally with suppliers, communicating fit‑trial feedback, product‑development plans, and more.
  • Pay close attention to fit, quality, and lab‑dip analysis for new and existing Lounge products.
  • Join our journey in pushing sustainability within our product team – suggesting design changes and advising on suitable substitute fabrics, components, and production plans.
  • Bring experience within lingerie and swimwear garments, with knowledge of construction, pattern, and grading across different materials and fabrications.
  • Work alongside our Buying/Merchandising Team to adhere to internal critical paths and supplier communications, ensuring business needs and product‑development plans are met efficiently.
  • Work from the office 4 days out of 5 – our HQ is based in Solihull, Birmingham.

We Would Love It If You

  • Have a degree in Contour Fashion or Fashion and an underlying passion for lingerie and swimwear.
  • Are passionate about sustainability and product development within the era of the conscious consumer.
  • Are confident in liaising with our wider product team and suppliers across the world with a professional and organized mindset.
  • Are proficient in Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Are excited to take on an extremely fast‑moving role, handling everything from fit to feel of product, fabric testing, and fitting samples.
