About the Role
As Supervisor you’ll be a key part of the team at Bosco Lounge; supporting your managers, leading your colleagues through each shift, and helping make sure every customer leaves happy. Responsibilities
- Lead from the front during busy shifts, helping the team deliver great service and keep everything running smoothly.
- Support the management team with the day‑to‑day operation of the lounge, from opening and closing tasks to keeping standards high across the floor.
- Help coach, guide and motivate the team, making sure everyone knows their role and feels confident during service.
- Keep a close eye on the detail, including cleanliness, presentation, food safety, allergens and cash handling processes.
- Step in to handle customer queries or complaints confidently, always aiming to turn a good visit into a great one.
- Play your part in driving sales, managing the bar and pass, and helping create a lounge that your local community loves coming back to.
Qualifications
- A natural host who helps create the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes Bosco Lounge feel like a home from home.
- Community‑minded – you get to know your regulars, your neighbours, and what makes Stroud tick.
- Comfortable taking ownership of a shift – delegating, managing the pass and bar, and dealing with customer queries confidently.
- Experience in restaurants, bars, cafés or coffee shops – whether as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or a brilliant front‑of‑house team member ready for their next step.
