About the role

At Lounge you'll be joining a team of real people who love real cooking – fresh, customer‑led, and with high‑quality ingredients. As a Kitchen Porter you will keep the kitchen operating smoothly by supporting the Head Chef and the rest of the culinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all kitchen cleaning and food preparation standards are top‑notch.
  • Support the Head Chef in the day‑to‑day running of a clean and well‑organised kitchen.
  • Jump in when needed to help the team deliver freshly cooked food on‑spec, on‑time, every time.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Natural talent and passion for hospitality.
  • Extremely driven and relentless at overcoming challenges or obstacles.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Self‑motivated working at pace with limited supervision while adhering to pressure and time‑scales.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice on all things allergens, kitchen essentials and food safety.
