Qualifications and Experience

  • Existing Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef or similar.
  • Experience working with fresh ingredients and strong culinary, food-prep (hot and cold), cleaning, knife skills and hygiene practices.
  • Proactive work ethic, willing to roll up sleeves, lead from the front and deliver high-standard kitchen and food quality.
  • Experience managing through clear KPIs and balancing decisions regarding labour, stock, food safety and related requirements.
  • History of reporting on kitchen metrics such as gross profit (GP), labour/house, and food preparation.
  • Successful delivery of training and recruitment for kitchen teams including apprentices, key positions, chefs, Junior Sous Chefs, and Sous Chefs.

Responsibilities

  • Create each dish to specification in a clean and safe kitchen.
  • Ensure all prep and par stock is completed for each shift.
  • Assist customers in leaving happy through standard, high-quality food.
