Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Wellness Attendant (with Massage Therapist responsibilities) to deliver bespoke, high-quality treatments at Louma Farm & Retreat and support the Wellness team. You’ll be responsible for tailoring sessions to each guest’s needs and supporting daily wellness operations while representing Louma as an ambassador for its luxury retreat experience. This is a full-time or part-time role working up to 40 hours per week. We are looking for someone with the flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends to meet guest and business needs.

What You'll Do...

  • Provide intuitive, bespoke treatments to the highest standard by assessing clients' needs and developing tailored treatment plans to ensure maximum satisfaction.
  • Deliver a variety of massage treatments, including holistic, Swedish, deep tissue, and other specialized techniques as needed – pregnancy, reflexology.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of massage therapy benefits and recommend suitable aftercare with confidence.
  • Promote and upsell services, treatments, and products to enhance guest experience and drive revenue.
  • Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes in line with company procedures, ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Use and promote Louma’s preferred products during treatments and for retail opportunities.
  • Prepare and manage Wellness areas for services, classes, activities, and experiences, ensuring high standards, operational readiness, guest enjoyment, controlled access, and full compliance with Health & Safety and Risk Assessments.
  • Supervise pools, pool decks, sauna, gym, changing rooms, and lockers, ensuring high standards of safety, organisation, cleanliness, maintenance, and availability, while providing guidance and support for guests’ benefit.
  • Undertake Pool Plant responsibilities, including scheduled checks, safe chemical use and storage, backwashing, and pool deck cleaning.
  • Follow SOPs to clean, sanitise, and organise all Wellness areas, equipment, and resources, including pools, gyms, changing rooms, and class areas, ensuring safe, high-standard use.
  • Use correct chemicals, materials, and equipment per COSHH, MSDS, and all relevant health & safety standards.
  • Collect and dispose of rubbish, waste, and laundry appropriately, liaising with Housekeeping for deep cleaning or linen replacement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Guest Relations, and Wellness Teams on scheduling and promoting Massage Therapy and Beautician Services to maximise both direct and indirect impact.
  • Present yourself in line with Louma Farm and Retreat's ethos through professional appearance, character and positive interaction with Guests, Team members, Partners, and Third Parties.

What We're Looking For...

  • Recognised Advanced Massage Training (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • At least two years of professional massage therapy experience
  • A valid driving licence
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional outdoor shifts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, respectful, and enthusiastic approach to work, with the ability to use initiative
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
