Role Overview
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor at Louma, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while leading and supporting our Food & Beverage team.
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our restaurant and bar services, maintaining high service standards, and creating memorable moments for every guest.
Working closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team, you will lead by example, inspire colleagues, and help create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere that reflects the quality, warmth and attention to detail that define the Louma experience.
This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who is passionate about guest service, enjoys developing others, and thrives in a luxury hospitality environment.
What You'll Do...
- Lead and support the Food & Beverage team during service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences at all times.
- Deliver warm, professional and personalised service, setting the standard for the wider team.
- Supervise daily restaurant, bar and dining operations to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery.
- Support the training, coaching and development of team members, helping to build a high-performing and engaged team.
- Monitor service standards and provide guidance and feedback to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of menus, ingredients, wine lists, beverage offerings and dietary requirements.
- Confidently communicate daily specials, seasonal dishes and farm-to-table offerings to guests.
- Build genuine rapport with guests, anticipate their needs and resolve any concerns professionally and effectively.
- Support the management of reservations, table allocations and service flow to maximise guest satisfaction.
- Communicate guest feedback, preferences and special occasions to relevant departments to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, inventory management and the minimisation of waste where required.
- Ensure all Food & Beverage areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and compliance.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of health, safety and food hygiene standards.
- Act as a key point of contact during shifts and support the wider operational needs of the hotel when required.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties requested by the Food & Beverage leadership team.

- Previous experience in a Food & Beverage supervisory role or a senior hospitality position.
- Strong understanding of restaurant, bar and guest service operations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Professional, confident and guest-focused approach.
- Experience handling guest queries and resolving issues effectively.
- Good understanding of food hygiene, health and safety requirements.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends, evenings and peak hospitality periods.
- Knowledge of wine, food pairing and luxury hospitality environments would be advantageous.
