You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality sushi, sashimi, and signature rolls, supporting smooth kitchen operations and creating an unforgettable guest experience from day one.
What You Will Do
- Prepare sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls with precision and creativity
- Ensure all food meets our high standards of freshness, hygiene, and presentation
- Work closely with the Executive Chef, Head Chef, and kitchen team to deliver smooth service
- Maintain a clean, organised, and food-safe sushi station
- Share your expertise and help train junior kitchen staff
- Contribute to a high-energy, collaborative kitchen environment
- Engage guests when appropriate, enhancing their experience with product knowledge
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sushi or Japanese cuisine
- Excellent knife skills and strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of fish handling, hygiene, and food safety
- Calm, focused, and professional under pressure
- Creativity and pride in every plate
