Role Description

This is a regular on-site role for a Violin Teacher based in Loughton. The Violin Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective violin lessons to students of varying age groups and skill levels. Additional duties include creating lesson plans, teaching music theory, preparing students for performances and examinations, and fostering a passion for music through individual and group sessions. Collaboration with other educators and maintaining student progress records will also be essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in violin playing and performance
• Strong understanding of music theory and ability to teach fundamental and advanced concepts
• Teaching experience in music education, including devising lesson plans and working with students
• Passion for music and the ability to inspire and motivate students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to adapt teaching styles to individual learning requirements
• Graded qualifications and Degree level in music performance preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
