Part time, Term Time, Open Ended
The University Library is central to the student and staff experience and is currently looking to recruit a weekend supervisor to join our User Services Team. The successful candidate will have extensive supervisory experience in a busy, customer focussed environment and should possess excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to show professionalism and a positive approach to new ideas and the ability to support colleagues in achieving the Library\βs aims. Recent experience of working in an academic library, similar information or educational environment is welcomed, although not essential. The successful candidate will:

work as part of the in person, front-line Library User Services Team to deliver high quality customer services, supporting students, staff, and visitors to use Library resources and services.

maintain a welcoming and supportive learning environment for all users of the Library service.

support the development and enhancement of user services through a range of activities and projects.
We have an open ended vacancy for a part time, term time only, supervisor in our evening & weekend team:
Post: Saturday 13.00 β 17.30 & Sunday 09.00 β 13.00 open ended, part time, term time (34 weeks a year).
Salary will be on Administrative Services Grade 4 Β£26,527 β Β£28,381 pro rata per annum, starting on the lowest point on the scale at an hourly rate of Β£13.79.
