IT Services are looking for a full time Technical Deployment Assistant on our East Midlands campus. This role will join our IT Assets team who are responsible for the management and procurement of all end user IT hardware. You will be working in a small team supporting staff and doctoral researchers across our large campus.

Whilst experience and knowledge of IT are good, we are really looking for someone who works well with people, is highly organised with a keen eye for detail and has a genuine interest in IT. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in IT at a world leading University.

You will process requests for equipment, obtain quotes for new items, liaise with colleagues to confirm their requirements and assign, deliver and install that equipment across campus. The team are also responsible for the full asset lifecycle from order, delivery, install and disposal of redundant equipment.

The role requires you to be able to drive University vehicles to carry out deliveries of equipment which involves carrying and lifting equipment. The job requires you to be on campus every day and cannot support working from home.
