Loughborough University London is a part-time (14.8 hours per week, 0.4 FTE) fixed term contract for maternity cover from 1 July. Hybrid working is available.

Professor Thomas Tufte has received £2.4m in ERC funding for REACT, an international research project on how young people in the Global South navigate uncertainty and drive social change. The project involves 20+ researchers, a survey of 12,000 young people, and city-based studies, and will develop a new framework for communication and participation.

We are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to support delivery, partnerships, and reporting from our London Campus. The post is a 12 month fixed term appointment to cover maternity leave.

The Role: We are seeking a Project Manager to support REACT - Reimagining Activism, Communication and Trajectories of Participation in the Global South, a £2.4m ERC-funded international research project led by Professor Thomas Tufte.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate operational delivery, timelines and governance
  • Manage budgets, expenditure tracking and funder reporting
  • Organise project, advisory board and stakeholder meetings
  • Lead logistics for events, fieldwork and international travel
  • Support communications, impact and knowledge exchange activities
