We’re looking for a motivated researcher to contribute to an exciting body of research exploring weight management in healthcare settings. Working alongside Dr Claire Madigan and the CLIMB research team you will conduct a feasibility trial of weight management before surgery. There will also be opportunities to contribute/lead systematic reviews and conduct qualitative studies. As a group we are keen to develop researchers and will help you work towards your next career steps. We have experience of obtaining NIHR fellowships and funding.
We are looking for someone who has experience of weight management research, is organized and completes things quickly and accurately. You should have good interpersonal skills to develop and manage relationships.
This full-time/part-time post is offered on a fixed-term contract until 31/08/2028. Loughborough University is committed to allowing its employees to work dynamically with a combination of working on campus and remotely, where possible. This has been identified as a role that could work dynamically and, if successful, your line manager will discuss these informal arrangements with you. Please note that there is a general expectation that the successful candidate will spend the majority of time working on the Loughborough campus.
