School of Social Sciences and Humanities - Location: Loughborough / London / both campuses.
We are seeking exceptional individuals to join us in a range of roles driving this exciting new venture forward. We are looking for Professors (up to 3 posts) in developing and implementing Loughborough Law in conjunction with the Head of Law, the wider School and University.
We are looking for critical, socio-legal expertise in the discipline of Law, particularly in the areas of public law, property/land law, EU law/transnational legal regimes, company and commercial law, law and technology, environmental law and sports law.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- a substantial track record of leadership in the conduct of high-quality research, research-led teaching, curriculum development and administrative roles;
- a sustained and continuing record of excellence placing them at the forefront of the furtherance of knowledge in their field and recognised in a well-established and high-profile international reputation;
- a well-established record of research funding, research impact, public engagement and PhD supervision;
- leadership in developing the relationship between law and social justice in research and teaching;
- ability to work collectively and collaboratively with colleagues and to take and lead initiatives in building Loughborough Law’s programmes and profile.
