Location: Loughborough. Salary: £47,389 per annum (pro‑rated). Fixed term starting 1 September 2026 to 30 June 2029. Part‑time (FTE 0.4). Annualised (10 months per year, pay divided equally across 12 monthly instalments).
Responsibilities
- The role‑holder will provide teaching primarily on our popular undergraduate Politics, Philosophy and Economics programme, covering introductory issues in epistemology, logic, metaphysics and ethics.
- Ability to teach and supervise in political philosophy and/or wider politics and international relations would be helpful.
Qualifications
- Highly experienced educator with evidence of excellence in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Specific and current experience of teaching philosophy.
- Experience working in a high‑quality academic research environment.
