Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for:
- This vacancy is only available to recent Loughborough University graduates who have completed an undergraduate programme within the last two years, or a current undergraduate student looking to undertake a placement year.
- This is a full time, fixed term role for 12 months.
- The School and College Liaison team are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic Loughborough University graduate or placement student to represent the University at events in schools and colleges across the country.
- The Student Recruitment Intern will play a key role in raising awareness of Loughborough University in the external marketplace and will work with a wide range of potential students, including disadvantaged and widening participation students.
- Applicants will need to be highly organised, have a keen desire to learn and have a natural ability to connect with people at all levels.
- This post will involve some out of office hours work, e.g. weekends and evenings, and the postholder will be required to travel across the UK.
About You:
- Confident and engaging communicator, comfortable speaking with prospective students, teachers and parents in a range of settings.
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and plan effectively for events and activities.
- Positive and proactive, with a genuine enthusiasm for learning and contributing to team projects.
- Approachable and supportive, able to build strong connections with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Flexible and dependable, with a willingness to travel and support events outside of standard working hours.
- Full UK Driving License required for the role.
