We have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and customer-focused individual to join one of the UK's leading conference venue and hotel brands. As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role within our Commercial Team, managing enquiries, securing new and repeat business, and coordinating events from initial enquiry through to delivery. You'll work closely with clients and operational teams to ensure every booking is planned accurately and every customer receives an exceptional experience. This is a fast-paced and rewarding role that combines sales, customer service and event coordination. You will be responsible for building strong client relationships, maximising business conversion opportunities and ensuring event information is communicated effectively across our venues.

What You'll Do:

  • Respond to incoming enquiries and proactively secure new and repeat business across our venue portfolio.
  • Prepare professional quotations, proposals and contracts for customers.
  • Conduct venue showrounds and pre-event meetings with clients.
  • Follow up enquiries to maximise conversion rates and revenue opportunities.
  • Coordinate all confirmed events, ensuring accurate input of booking details into company systems.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the customer journey.
  • Work closely with operational teams to communicate event requirements and ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Attend regular function sheet and operational meetings.
  • Ensure event billing information is accurately recorded and processed.
  • Support on-site event delivery and delegate registration when required.
  • Undertake proactive sales activity, including telesales and business conversion calls.
  • Support wider business development initiatives and commercial objectives.

About You:

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience in a sales, hospitality, events or customer-facing environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • A positive and proactive approach to sales and business development.
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good commercial awareness and a results-focused mindset.
  • Confidence using IT systems and working with multiple priorities.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of event coordination or conference sales would be advantageous.
