We’re on the lookout for a highly skilled and initiative-taking Cloud Applications Manager to join our Business Partnering Team. As a Senior Member of the Business Partnering Team, you’ll support our mission to raise the University profile by:
- Ensuring all cloud application services are (and remain) fit for purpose, value for money, necessary and secure.
- Ensuring good relationships with business and academic sponsors in order to understand the supported processes and value of software applications.
You’ll contribute to projects and service improvements that will continue to modernise and improve our services. You will also support team members with issues that require escalation.

About the Department: Our IT Services department is made up of a wide range of teams all responsible for their own specialism. We are based in Holywell Park, a beautiful area of green campus with a large car park, good public transport links and next to Burleigh Woods. Loughborough IT came top in the National Student Survey for IT resources & facilities in supporting learning for several years in a row. We have an incredibly supportive culture, an understanding of work/life balance, with hybrid working available. Staff particularly enjoy the flexibility available and the opportunity to contribute to interesting University wide projects and innovative technology solutions. About You: You’ll have experience of developing, reviewing and improving business processes used by stakeholders to deliver effective and efficient business operations. You’ll have experience of supplier management, specifically where applications are delivered via public cloud infrastructure (e.g. Software as a Service). You’ll have a proven ability in building professional relationships across the business and have excellent communication and collaboration skills. You’ll have a degree combined with relevant professional IT qualifications and experience.
