At Loughborough, our Estates & Facilities Management team is central to delivering an exceptional experience for students, staff, and visitors. As Building Fabric Services Manager, you’ll lead from the front—ensuring our buildings are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards, while supporting the continued development of one of the UK’s largest and most vibrant single‑site campuses.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and develop a skilled multi‑trade maintenance team
  • Manage reactive and planned maintenance programmes (PPM)
  • Ensure statutory compliance and H&S standards are met
  • Oversee contractors and project delivery
  • Manage budgets and drive efficient service delivery
  • Build strong relationships with campus stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience managing fabric maintenance teams
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance and compliance
  • Experience overseeing contractors and budgets
  • Excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills
  • Relevant construction qualification (Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent)
