Loughborough University IT Services is looking for an Apprentice AV Events Technician to join our busy AV team. The first part of this career-graded post entails a 2-year fixed term contract during which you will complete the Audio-Visual Level 5 Apprenticeship. The apprenticeship includes one day each week dedicated to off-the-job remote study with Middlesbrough College, with the four remaining days dedicated to gaining your required work-based experience as part of the University’s IT team.
About You
- An interest in a career in AV, Events & IT
- Experience of everyday desktop software, for example PPT, Adobe and graphics
- Basic experience and understanding of the use and technical capabilities of AV, Events or IT systems or equipment
- A desire to study and achieve an AV qualification and a willingness to comply with the requirements of a training contract
- Educated to a Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE Grades 9-4/A-C) or Functional Skills Level 2 or evidence of work experience/prior engagement with audiovisual technology.
