The School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences at Loughborough University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Sport and/or Exercise Rehabilitation. You will contribute to research, innovation, and teaching, with a focus on Rehabilitation Science in a Sport and/or Exercise context.
At the level of Senior Lecturer, you will lead and deliver educational and student experience activities across our MSc programmes in Sport Rehabilitation, Exercise Rehabilitation, and/or Strength and Conditioning. You will hold a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant field, and will be internationally recognised for your academic excellence, with a substantial body of original work in high-quality publications and significant experience in supervising researchers.
At Lecturer level, you will support the educational and student experience activities across our MSc programmes in Sport Rehabilitation, Exercise Rehabilitation, and/or Strength and Conditioning. You will hold a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant field, with a proven track record of academic publication and post-doctoral experience in research, teaching, and/or rehabilitative/training practices.
Additionally, at both levels, you will have a clear research and innovation plan that aligns with the University\'s Research and Innovation core plan. This plan should demonstrate your drive and area of expertise and highlight how you intend to develop and translate knowledge and practice in this area. It should also align with the strategy of the National Rehabilitation Centre and/or the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine.
We are also particularly interested in people who bring expertise in one of the following areas:
- Musculoskeletal Injury Rehabilitation
- Strength and Conditioning Science
- Clinical Exercise Physiology
