We are looking for a proactive, detail-driven HR Adviser to join our HR Services team. You will manage a varied portfolio of work, providing expert advice and guidance across a full range of HR matters. This includes employee relations casework and leading on key lifecycle processes such as sickness absence management, immigration, and fixed-term contract reviews.
You will play a vital role in delivering a progressive, inclusive and high-quality employment experience across the full employee journey - from probation to retirement.
In this role, you will:
- Provide dedicated HR advice and support to assigned areas of the University
- Coach managers and staff to resolve issues early and enhance the employee experience
- Lead on core HR processes and casework, ensuring fairness, consistency and compliance
- Contribute to continuous improvement, and support HR initiatives and projects where appropriate
