Overview
We’re looking for a passionate, detail-driven HR Adviser to join our HR Services team. You’ll manage a varied portfolio of work, providing expert advice and guidance across a full range of HR matters. This includes employee relations casework and leading on key lifecycle processes such as sickness absence management, immigration, and fixed-term contract reviews.
You’ll play a vital role in delivering a progressive, inclusive and high‑quality employment experience across the full employee journey from probation to retirement.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated HR support to assigned areas of the University
- Advise and coach managers and staff to resolve issues early and enhance employee experience
- Lead on core HR processes and casework, ensuring fairness, consistency and compliance
- Collaborate with colleagues across the HR department to support broader HR initiatives and projects
- Contribute to continuous improvement and data-driven decision‑making
