Loughborough Students’ Union is seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Manager to lead the operational delivery of our vibrant, multi-purpose building. This is a pivotal role at the heart of our student community, ensuring our spaces are safe, efficient, and welcoming for all who use them.

As Facilities Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day management of our building infrastructure, maintenance contracts, and compliance responsibilities. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure our facilities meet the highest standards, supporting everything from student events to commercial operations.

By providing these services you will help to ensure that the building is upkept, and that frontline services are available to our stakeholders.

The LSU building is a mix of study and meeting room space, office space, alongside commercial outlets including hosting weekly club nights.

During busy periods, we work to tight deadlines, requiring a flexible and accommodating approach. This may include working outside traditional hours, including weekends.

The position is offered on LSU Scale 8,currently LSU Pay Scale 8 (£32,033 – £34,984 per annum, pro-rata for part-time)on an open-ended basis. Offers will be made at a pay point appropriate to the skill and experience of the successful candidate.
