We are currently seeking to recruit a new role of Facilities Assistant into our Buildings & Facilities Team.
Our building is a busy, vibrant and energetic place to work, and to be successful in this role you will need to have an ability to work well under pressure both as part of a team, and independently under the guidance of the Buildings & Facilities Manager.
In this role, the key duties will be to focus on delivering facilities support to users of the building including staff, customers, and tenants, by responding to facilities and maintenance requests assigned through the helpdesk and assisting with cleaning support where required. By providing these services you will help to ensure that the building is upkept, and that frontline services are available to our stakeholders.
The LSU building is a mix of study and meeting room space, office space, alongside commercial outlets including hosting weekly club nights.

This position is offered part-time working 21 hours per week over 3 days. The shifts for this position are varied and offer some flexibility in terms of days, with some shifts starting from 6am for morning cover. Shifts, and working patterns will be discussed in more detail at interview.
