Casual Catering Assistant (open to students)

We are currently seeking to recruit ‘Catering Assistants’ to join our growing team within the Social Enterprise department.
Our catering department covers all the catering outlets within the Students’ Union. In this role you will be working across our ‘JCs Kitchen & Humpit outlet’ To be successful in this role you will need to have an ability to work well under pressure and be able to work cooperatively within a team.
As a ‘Catering Assistant’ you will be part of a team of staff working a varied role from working in our JCs kitchen assisting with prepping, cooking, presenting, and serving a range of food items, as well as being part of the team who work serving customers in our ‘Humpit outlet’.

The role is offered as casual on LSU Casual Scale (currently £12.21 per hour, plus 12.07% holiday pay supplement). Working unsociable hours will be part of this role. Our trading patterns are seasonal, reflecting University term times and this will also be reflected in shift patterns.
Training will be provided for all successful applicants.
