We’re looking for an experienced and flexible Engineering Trainer Assessor to join our apprenticeship team to support in the growth of our Engineering Apprenticeship provision. As a Trainer Assessor, you’ll support apprentices on a 1:1 or small-group basis within their own employment setting, travelling across the local area to visit learners. This position does not involve classroom teaching at the college; instead, you’ll focus on delivering and assessing apprenticeship standards directly in real working environments.
The ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Competency in the subject area
- An appropriate Assessor qualification (for example D32/D33/A1/TAQA, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards
- A qualification at a minimum Level 3 in the subject area
- Experience of working with individuals to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours
