We have an exciting opportunity for a Sessional Lecturer in Caring Services to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join this growing and highly successful area of our college. You will be required to teach across a range of programmes within the curriculum area.
Responsibilities
- To teach and assess across a range of courses in your relevant subject area, including preparation of teaching material.
- To keep up to date with developments in the relevant subject area.
- To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults that you may be responsible for or come into contact with.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of working in Health & Social Care/Early Years settings (care worker, social work, nursing, healthcare assistant, rehab, counsellor, occupational therapist, midwife, learning disabilities, early years practitioner, nursery manager).
- Strong organisational skills.
- A keen eye for quality to ensure that the programmes you teach are consistently of a high standard.
