Are you an experienced Security Officer? Do you want more structured hours? The Leicestershire College are looking for an experienced Security Officer to join the Estates team in providing a flexible, efficient and effective security service at all times. The post holder requires flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern, working 37.5 hours per week over 5 days. The shifts are rotated between the team, hours will be discussed at interview. Whilst your main days of work will be Monday-Friday, you will be required to work an occasional weekend to cover events such as open days.
Key responsibilities include:
- Regular surveillance patrols across the College campus
- Being a point of contact for learners, colleagues and visitors
- Providing a customer focused presence on site
To be considered for the role, you will have experience of providing security and/or locking down buildings on a large site. You will be able to demonstrate a professional approach and the ability to work on your own initiative. Applicants must hold an SIA license and possess or be willing to work towards a recognised First Aid Qualification.
