The NFL Academy is a major global initiative by the NFL, offering talented student-athletes the opportunity to combine full-time education alongside intensive training in American Football, under the guidance of world class coaching staff.
In partnership with Loughborough College (US High School equivalent), and Loughborough University, our Elite Football Development Programme enrols student- athletes aged 16-18 years from around the world.
The NFL Academy integrates academic excellence, character development and top-tier American Football training, to create pathways for young athletes aiming to secure scholarships to advance within the sport.
Since its launch in the 2019-20 academic year, the NFL Academy has successfully placed over 40 student-athletes into NCAA programmes, including 19 signees over the 2023 and 2025 signing periods.
We are seeking to appoint an NFL Academy Running Backs Coach to provide a high-quality player development programme. This role will include working within a multi-disciplinary team, and will include working with players for a range of on and off-field activity. The role also includes preparing for, and attending, a range of fixtures, both in the UK and overseas.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team. You will possess extensive coaching experience in American Football and have demonstrated your ability to coach and develop players as part of a successful programme. The role will require flexible working patterns, with some evening/weekend work, as well as attendance at fixtures.
