The Elite Sport department at Loughborough College Group is a highly successful department with over 2,000 learners. The department offers a wide range of provision up to L4 qualifications, working nationally with a broad range of funded programmes that includes study programmes, apprenticeships, international, adult programmes and the Diploma in Sporting Excellence.

We are seeking to appoint an Elite Sport Esports Lecturer to provide high quality teaching and learning to elite sport learners, both through face-to-face and online delivery. Learner progress will be monitored to ensure target grades are met and all learners achieve to the best of their ability.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in the Esports industry
  • A relevant degree and teaching qualification
  • Experience of teaching and vocational experience in further education or working in similar roles within the industry
  • Experience of elite sport, preferably in the motorsport industry, and working in talent pathway/high performance environments

As part of this role, there will be a requirement to work both at Loughborough College and other offsite locations. Due to this, the successful candidate would have a full, valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to offsite locations for work.

You will possess strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively with a range of partners. You will possess excellent planning and administration skills and be able to work to deadlines. A knowledge of a range of teaching methodologies is essential, including online-based delivery.
