We have an exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Forklift Truck Maintenance & Repair to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Stephenson College.
As a Lecturer in Forklift Truck Maintenance and Repair you will inspire Forklift Truck apprentices from across the country by delivering and sharing your industry-leading skills, knowledge, and professional behaviours.
Responsibilities of this role include
- Produce high quality and challenging learning experiences
- Deliver engaging training through a blend of classroom teaching and digital learning
- Develop, adapt and update schemes of work, lesson plans and learning resources to meet industry standards and diverse learner needs
- To undertake tutorial and pastoral roles with apprentices
What we are looking for
- Possess or be willing to work towards a teaching and assessing/verifying qualification
- Significant experience in material handling device maintenance and repair
- Experience of working with apprentices in a college setting and/or in industry
- Ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge of material handling device technologies
