We have an exciting opportunity for an Estates Premises Officer to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College.
To provide a customer focused proactive maintenance service which meets the needs of the college now and in the future, by being an innovative department in its approach to planned and reactive maintenance. To provide the necessary skill to deliver small to medium size projects. You will be responsible for general maintenance supporting all aspects of the estates department which include campus grounds, accommodation, security and support desk functions.
The post holder requires flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern. Working 37.5 hours per week over 5 days. The shifts are rotated between the team, hours will be discussed at interview. Whilst your main days of work will be Monday-Friday, you will be required to work an occasional Saturday or Sunday to cover events such as open days.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- To be available as support for securing and opening of premises at key times
- To be a point of contact when necessary for Emergency Services and other organisations
- To support the college Maintenance function ensuring service levels are met
What we are looking for:
- Experience in general maintenance or other trade skills
- Proven experience of co-ordinating a range of tasks and activities
- The ability to work independently and problem solve using own initiative or as part of a team with clear instruction
- A strong and proven commitment to high quality customer service
