We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic and committed teacher of A Level History and Politics to join Loughborough College Sixth Form. The College is experiencing growth and application numbers for Sixth Form are at an all-time high. We are therefore looking for an exceptional individual to join our growing team.

You will deliver inspirational and effective teaching and learning that both engages learners and enables all learners to achieve successful outcomes in line with their aspirational target grades. You will be expected to deliver a blended learning model that includes both in person lessons and a weekly online lesson; strong digital skills and a willingness to learn and adapt these methodologies is therefore essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching A Level History and Politics to both Year 12 and Year 13 students. A relevant degree and teaching qualification is therefore essential, as is experience of teaching History or Politics A Level. Experience of delivering the AQA specifications is desirable.

As part of a growing team, you will be expected to positively contribute to the development of the department. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a large team and as an individual are essential. We are particularly interested in candidates who are keen to raise aspirations of students, promote cultural capital, and create enrichment opportunities for students studying History and Politics.
