We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Assistant to join our team at Loughborough College Group on a part‑time, term‑time only basis.
This role will take place in a busy, vibrant college canteen, helping to deliver a positive dining experience for students and staff.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
- Offer a friendly welcoming face during food service in the box office or campus kitchen.
- Communicate with chefs regarding allergen and ingredient information prior to food service.
- Ensure displays are full and well presented at all times, ensuring efficient stock rotation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience of working in a café or other commercial catering outlet.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organised, calm, with great interpersonal skills.
- Possess a positive can‑do attitude.
- Employment terms
This role is a term‑time only position working 36 weeks throughout the year and follows FE/HE term times.
Applicants must have the right to work in the country without the need for sponsorship.
