You will have experience in a relevant vocational industry setting or academic background and be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate students through the use of varied teaching and learning strategies.

Responsibilities

  • To use industry experience and expertise to contextualise learning and develop students' understanding of electrical engineering and power networks.
  • To play a key role in quality assurance and quality improvement processes - full training will be provided.
  • To deliver high quality and challenging learning experiences.

Qualifications

  • Possess a relevant engineering degree or master in engineering.
  • A willingness to work towards a teaching qualification.
  • Willingness to travel to other work locations as often as required.
  • Experience in a relevant vocational industry setting (power industry transmission/distribution, high current/voltage applications or operating related equipment).
