We are seeking a highly committed and motivated assessor to join the Elite Sport program area. The role involves assessing and tutoring elite sport learners, most notably as part of the Diploma in Sporting Excellence program.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as an assessor for groups or individual students on a range of programmes, ensuring that practical and written work is assessed in line with awarding organisation and college requirements.
  • Closely monitor the welfare of all students and act in accordance with safeguarding policies where required.
  • Deliver classroom‑based workshops or portfolio building activities.
  • Undertake appropriate staff development and training, including the maintenance and updating of specialist skills across approximately four training days per year.
  • Participate in the development of assessment strategies for elite sport learners.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Assessors/verifiers qualification or willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience in elite sport.
  • Relevant degree.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
