Responsibilities:
- Support learners through their programme and the specific qualification aims within the course.
- Write schemes of work, lesson and review plans.
- Be flexible in the delivery of education and training.
- Ensure completion of portfolios, coursework, own work and all other programme-related student outputs within the scheduled scheme.
- Deliver across the full range of the department's provision.
- Bring new ideas and embed new technologies into the learning environment.
- Use effective teaching and learning techniques.
Qualifications:
- Hold a minimum of a level 4 qualification or equivalent in a relevant area.
- Possess a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent).
- Experience of designing and delivering vocational or academic programmes to students and/or learners.
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve excellent results.
- Effective time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience and knowledge of dog grooming desirable.
