We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, dynamic, and committed teacher of A Level English Language to join our Sixth Form team at Loughborough College Group.

Overview

The College is experiencing growth and application numbers for Sixth Form are at an all-time high. We are therefore looking for an exceptional individual to join our distinctive educational setting. You will deliver inspirational and effective teaching, learning and assessment to ensure all students are supported to succeed through the delivery of high quality and challenging learning experiences. Progress will be monitored to ensure aspirational target grades are met or exceeded, with swift and effective interventions put in place to address any underperformance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver A Level English Language to Year 12 and Year 13 students.
  • Contribute significantly to the outcomes of the area.
  • Deliver the OCR English Language specification.
  • Build on successful Sixth Form outcomes and embrace innovative modes of delivery.
  • Be confident with digital technologies and remote classrooms.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Relevant degree is essential.
  • Extensive A Level teaching experience.
  • Preferably hold a teaching qualification.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; able to work effectively in a large team and as an individual.
  • Experience delivering OCR English Language specification.
