We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Assistant to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Brooksby College on a Fixed‑Term basis until January 2027. This role will work in a busy, vibrant college canteen, helping to deliver a positive dining experience for students and staff while supporting internal catering, stock rotation and maintaining kitchen hygiene and health and safety standards across all areas.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
- Offer a friendly welcoming face during food service in the box office or campus kitchen.
- Communicate with chefs regarding allergen and ingredient information prior to food service.
- Ensure displays are full, well presented and manage efficient stock rotation.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a café or other commercial catering outlet.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised, calm and reliable.
