We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced AAT Tutor to join our dynamic team and deliver exceptional teaching to our Level 2 and Level 3 AAT students and apprentices. As an AAT Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, engaging, and supportive training to apprentices studying for the AAT qualifications at Levels 2 and 3. You will play a key role in shaping the future of apprentices as they develop the skills needed to thrive in the accounting and finance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering structured AAT Level 2 and Level 3 lessons through a blend of face-to-face and remote learning methods.
- Supporting apprentices in both their theoretical and practical learning, ensuring they understand key concepts and can apply them in the workplace.
- Monitoring and assessing progress, providing regular feedback to apprentices.
- Developing and delivering engaging and interactive learning resources.
- Maintaining accurate records of progress, assessments, and attendance.
- Offering guidance on career development and further professional qualifications within the accounting sector.
- Working closely with employers to ensure the students are receiving the necessary workplace support and experience where applicable.
- Keeping up to date with industry developments, the AAT syllabus, and apprenticeship standards.
Key Requirements:
- AAT Level 3 or 4 qualified (or equivalent qualification in accounting or finance).
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
- Experience teaching or mentoring students, preferably within an AAT context would be desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for supporting learners and helping them reach their full potential.
- Experience with using e-learning platforms or virtual learning environments and experience with the AAT is desirable.
