Workshop Supervisor in Carpentry Ensure the Health and Safety of students in the use of equipment, tools and resources required to develop their skills and knowledge.
Review, monitor and complete annual risk assessments associated with the workshop environment, including COSHH.
Organise safe systems for storage of material and equipment and maintain the cleanliness of the workshop.
Ensure suitable and sufficient materials are available for practical lessons delivered in the workshop and support the department when apprentices are undertaking their end point assessments.
