We have an exciting opportunity for a Sessional Progress Tutor to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College. The Art & Design department seeks to employ a motivated individual to join their team working as a sessional Progress Tutor. The successful candidate will be working with a range of learners. The role will support learners on Level 2 and 3 Programmes. The role requires the Progress Tutor to provide a large amount of pastoral support, that will also involve internal and external support services. The Progress Tutor will work alongside tutors to enable all learners to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • To coach learners to attain their learning goals and meet/exceed their expectations
  • Ensure learners enjoy their learning and progress
  • Provide learners care, promote their learning and development and help them to achieve their potential

Qualifications

  • Possess a relevant vocational or academic qualification at level 3
  • Possess relevant work/vocational experience (in education or with young people)
  • Experience of delivering tutorial based sessions to groups
  • Proven experience of motivating learners to achieve excellent results
