We have an exciting opportunity for a security officer to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College. The role requires flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern, working 22 hours per week over two days (Saturday and Sunday). Some flexibility beyond weekends may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Regular surveillance patrols across the College campus.
- Act as a point of contact for learners, colleagues and visitors.
- Provide a customer‑focused presence on site.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Experience providing security and/or locking down buildings on a large site.
- Demonstrate a professional approach.
- Show the ability to work on your own initiative.
- Enforce the college's behaviour policy to provide a safer environment for all staff and students.
- Hold an SIA licence.
- Possess or be willing to work towards a recognised First Aid qualification.
Employment Details
The successful candidate will be employed by The Leicestershire College, a subsidiary of Loughborough College Group. Employees are based at one of the campus locations. Skilled‑worker sponsorship is not available; applicants must have the right to work in the UK. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
