We have an exciting opportunity for a Sport & Business Administrator to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Loughborough College campus. The Sport Department has over 1000 full‑time learners offering a wide range of provision to learners at levels 1 to 3. We are seeking to appoint an Administrator to join the Department in providing an excellent administrative service for them. It is a challenging and diverse role and you will have significant contact with college staff, learners, parents and external partners, providing support and information.
Responsibilities
- Log absences and monitor daily attendance to lessons.
- Identify all at‑risk learners in the area.
- Ensure all learners have a relevant work experience / RWE and record it accurately in the system.
- Run data reports for the department to support curriculum managers in improving the quality of provision.
- Continually develop new systems and working practices to keep essential and accurate administrative functions efficient and effective for the department.
- Provide cover within the team, supporting the route for those wishing to start a career in progress tutoring/teaching and gain a teaching qualification.
- Work with a wide range of staff, learners, parents and external partners to provide support and information.
Qualifications
- Sports related degree.
- Good administrative experience with excellent organisational skills.
- Track record of working successfully with a wide range of staff.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work well using your own initiative.
- Essential ability to work with data and use Excel functions.

The successful candidate will be employed by The Leicestershire College, a subsidiary company of Loughborough College, and will be based at one of the campuses of the Loughborough College Group. The terms and conditions of employment offered by the Leicestershire College are different to those of Loughborough College. We are unable to provide skilled worker sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the right to work in the country without the need for sponsorship. All applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
