We are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Industry Specialist Account Manager to join our expanding Business Development team, based at Stephenson College. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of skills development, apprenticeships and workforce planning, helping employers access high-quality training solutions while supporting the growth and success of the College.

We are looking for an experienced account manager, business development professional or B2B sales specialist who is passionate about building long-term employer relationships and identifying opportunities that create real impact for businesses and learners.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success in account management, employer engagement or B2B sales
  • A track record of generating new business and achieving ambitious targets
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities
  • Experience of working with apprenticeships, training providers or work-based learning environments
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship funding, reforms and workforce development solutions
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, self-motivated and results-driven approach
