Lecturer in Electrical Installation (Full time, Part time and Sessional) – Loughborough College Group

Join Our Electrical Installation Team and inspire the next generation of electricians! We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled professional to join our Electrical Installation team; whether you\'re an experienced teacher or a seasoned electrician ready for a new challenge, this is your chance to make a real difference.

Responsibilities

  • Teach and assess learners on the Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation.
  • Create engaging, industry-relevant content and learning experiences.
  • Support learners in developing both theoretical knowledge and practical trade skills.
  • Delivery of practical and/or theoretical topics such as electrical science and principles, installation planning, design, preparation and hands-on training.

A relevant qualification or significant practical experience are required and teaching and/or mentoring experience would be advantageous. However, we are happy to consider candidates from industry with significant practical experience who are looking to get into education and will support you to obtain a teaching qualification.

  • Level 2 & 3 Diplomas in Electrical Installation
  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Technical
  • AM2
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018)
  • Inspection & Testing
  • EV Charging Installation
  • Don’t have teaching experience? No problem—we’ll support you with training and mentoring
