Overview

We are seeking a Carpentry & Joinery Lecturer to deliver across the full range of the department's provision. You may currently be working in a construction setting and be seeking your first teaching role. You will have a passion for innovation, bringing new ideas and embedding new technologies into the learning environment.

Base pay range

This range is provided by Loughborough College Group. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

Working as part of the construction team you will be responsible for the delivery and development of courses. You will possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of Carpentry and Joinery and be able to plan and use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning techniques.

Qualifications andRequirements

As well as your relevant experience and current knowledge, you will also be willing to obtain a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) if you do not already possess one.
